Overheads are covered by Richard and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of the donations received go direct to the frontline where they are needed most.

As members of the 24902 community, Glenn and Mindy Stearns have participated in and hosted several of Virgin Unite's Leadership Gatherings. In July, 2013, they brought six Horatio Alger Scholars with challenging beginnings in life, several inspiring speakers who survived incredible odds, and industry CEO's to Richard's home on magnificent Necker Island. The intention of the retreat was to create a mentor network for the scholars - and inspire all to embrace adversity as a tool to live our greatest "Purpose."
